Ages 0-12 (Nursery-Preschool-Grade 6) and youth group ages 13-17

Welcome

Creekside Community Church is a community that seeks to glorify God by surrendering to Jesus, making disciples and transforming communities. Pathfinders is here to partner with families to help children discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus.

We are committed to creating safe and fun environments for kids zero through 17 years old. During each service, the younger children, zero to 12 years old, will experience God through worship, gospel-centered Bible study, disciple group discussions and a ton of fun activities.

Our goal is that kids would develop a biblical foundation, grow in relationships with friends and leaders, experience gospel-centered discipleship and LOVE being at church!

We truly believe that the best way to help kids discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus is through partnering with you, their primary disciple-maker. Throughout every stage and season of your kid’s lives, we are committed to partnering with you to raise up kids who love Jesus and love others!

Nursing MOM’s

There is a room where you can go and privately nurse your newborn babe. Please ask at the Monitors Desk where to go.

Discoverers

( zero to 23 months old )

This area is specifically designated for wee ones up to 23 months old. There will be designated workers available to watch your children if you choose to drop them off. Please sign them in at the Monitors Desk. If you choose to stay with your child(ren), that is great. There is an online streaming monitor to watch the service in this room.

Explorers

(2 - 4 years old)

During the summer months the little ones will still gather in the CE wing for classes.

Designed specifically for children from 2 years old through four years old, our preschool services are a place for the newest generation to learn about the love of Jesus. Children up to five years of age are in a season of discovery.

In Explorers, we want them to ‘…taste and see that the Lord is good!’ – Psalm 34:8. They will discover God’s amazing creation and His love for each of them.

Starting at the age of two, kids will begin walking through the scope of Scripture every two years. Children will engage in a thoughtfully planned and age-appropriate experience with worship, Bible stories, gospel truths, games and activities.

Adventurers

5 - 7 years old

During the summer months this class is on hold but there are activity books and reading books available. The children can stay in the service with their families.

The Adventurers and Seekers will spend time in a small group setting to allow them to build relationships with their Pathfinder leaders and other kids their age. They will learn about Jesus through gospel centered curriculum, memorize Scripture and have fun developing friendships with one another.

Seekers

Ages 10-12

During the summer months this class is on hold but there are activity books and reading books available. The children can stay in the service with their families.

Voyagers
Youth Group

Ages 13-17 (Grades 7-12)

Youth group meets on Tuesdays. During the service on Sundays we welcome the teens to stay and take in the sermon.

Voyagers meet weekly according to availability of the leadership and kids. They are devoted to one another and developing a relationship with the Lord. They have had Alpha course, A Case for Christ and continue to learn Biblical apologetics.

WE KEEP IT SAFE

In Pathfinders, we are committed to safety, and it is the heart of our ministry to make every possible effort to ensure the wellbeing of every child.

Everyone who serves in Pathfinders undergoes a thorough screening process before serving. All serving staff completes an application, undergoes a background check, have their references checked and participates in on-site training.

While your kids are in our space, there will always be appropriate adult/helper ratios in each classroom. No one is alone in a classroom with a child. All classrooms have security windows so that monitors have access to observe the rooms at regular intervals.

To make your first visit as easy as possible, we have created both an online and an in-person registration process for you and your family. On the registration, we will ask questions like – what is your phone number, how many children are in your family and do your child(ren) have any allergies?

This is where you will drop off and pick up your child(ren) for service.

If your child(ren) has special needs or learning needs please let the Christian Education coordinator know so that the Pathfinders team can prepare appropriate materials and make any necessary adjustments.

Group leaders will be ready to greet and engage your child in fun and age-appropriate activities! If, for any reason, we need to reach you, the teacher will ask the in charge monitor to message you.

The children from the Seekers and Adventurers will be dismissed after the service is complete. Parents it is then your responsibility to reunite with your child. For the Explorer room, parents must go into the Pathfinder Wing and then the leaders in the room will have to verify you before he/she is released onto your care.

PATHFINDERS KIDS EXPERIENCE

We are a church of disciple making disciples and this starts with our kids!

BUILD COMMUNITY

God designed us for community, and we want your kids to build lasting relationships with other kids their age. Learning to love all people by sharing the love of Jesus and making friends is an important part of their discipleship journey.

CONSISTENT DISCIPLE GROUP LEADERS

We want your kids to look forward to seeing a familiar face at church each week. As they build a relationship with their Pathfinder leaders, we hope that they will share, ask questions and feel supported and cared for as they become a disciple making disciple.

WORSHIP THE LORD

We model what it looks like to worship and praise God for what He has done for us. We teach kids through singing, raising their hands, reading the Bible and responding to the Scripture.
