The enemy (Eph 5:31, 32) The bible has the answers to live out a successful God centered, Christ reflecting marriage Marriage series We will be covering some biblical principles/practical things to help us live out a marriage that reflects the relationship of Christ and His Church However it comes across – will you please trust the Word and experience! Who is this series for? Obvious answer is the marriages that are hurting For the good marriages For the single person looking Those who have divorced For the widowed and widower Seven Thoughts from John 5 1. There is something wrong 5:5 2. Jesus knows what is wrong and He wants to help 5:6 3. Do you want to be made well? 5:6 4. An admission of our inability to fix it is important 5:7 5. Put in the work in and having faith will make it a reality 5:8 6. There is healing power in the biblical principles 5:9 7. Don’t go back to the old ways again 5:14

December 28, 2025 The 4 Distinctives of the Church Acts 2:40-47 We need to honestly answer the question, “Are we this kind of Church?What was it that set the early church apart? What made them different? Acts 2:40-47 -Continued-to be strong towards-give dedication/devotion to - It is a continuous energy -This wasn’t a Sunday kind of thingThere were 4 distinctives that defined the uniqueness of the church.. 1. A Church built on DOCTRINE - Doctrine simply means the teachings of God – what does God say  Not what I feel think or want but what does God say! - The POWER to LIVE comes from your KNOWLEDGE of the Word energized by the Holy Spirit! - 1 Timothy 4:6-16 2. A Church built on FELLOWSHIP - NT definitions: Koinonia Partnership participation – having common, all sharing in, Joint participation in things held common - In Acts they were so connected to each other in the bond of Christ that they held on to one another so tightly they did not need to hold on to THIER STUFF - Romans 12:15; 1 Corinthians 12:25, 26 3. A Church built on WORSHIP -Breaking of Bread -This REMEMBERING is not just a recalling of facts -It is a participation in the reality of what Jesus has done for us – it is how we WORSHIP! - True worship involves both the inward and outward of the person 4. A Church built on PRAYER -They were so new to all of this they had a sense of helplessness – no power of their own – and therefore were thrown into a sense and need of praying - A High view of God and a low view of ourselves creates a place where we ask and prayers can be answered in God size ways

December 21, 2025 He Became Flesh John 1:14; Galatians 4:4,5; Hebrews 4:14-16 He robbed Himself with Flesh John 1:14 Dwelt among us We beheld Him 1 John 1:1 Galatians 4:4 Fullness of time Sent forth His Son - Deity of Jesus Born of a woman under the law - The humanity of Jesus Why this incarnation? Why come in the flesh? There is a myriad of theological reasons why He came in the flesh – we will focus on 2 of the more practical reasons He did it so He could sympathize with us Hebrews 4:14-16 He can sympathize with us – to share with us Not feeling sorry but a feeling of your sorrow He enters into our difficulties with us He did it because He had to die as one of us A body that could suffer – nails, sword, fist, thorns, spit He had to have flesh – something with which to die So that He could die for our sins If he had not died we would not have had grace upon grace! If He had not died we would only have judgement Christmas is the beginning of the Gospel Will you be redeemed? If you are have you celebrated the wonder of the incarnation?
